WHO WE ARE

We are a research, archival, and project-based organization, dedicated to the uprooting, preservation, and dissemination of history from Central America and Central Americans in California for the benefit of its members, communities, and future generations.

WHAT WE DO

We preserve Central American heritage through the collection, preservation and exhibition of Central American related historical documents, artifacts, photographs, and stories. We aim to bridge the cultural knowledge gap that leads to biased narratives, stereotypes, racism, and systemic inequalities.

• Identify, collect, and preserve material related to the history of Central America and Central Americans from California

Collaborate on projects to expand education and research on Central America

Develop learning material relatable to Central Americans 

• Design and promote events on historical and ancestral topics with members and community
