On the beaches of Conchalio, La Libertad is where David declared his love for Rosa during Semana Santa in 1940.

They had four boys Oscar ('45), Edgar ('47), Roberto ('49), and Ernesto ('51) and lived on 35 Calle Oriente, La Rabida next to Don Nico, the photographer.

In 1967, the Portillo family gets together for a family portrait to send to Rosa's father Roberto Wolff living in Malaucene, France at the time.
